Introduction to Throwing on the Potter's Wheel

This class is an introduction to the potter's wheel, focusing on wedging, shaping, trimming, and simple glazing techniques. Students may take this class more than once before they are comfortable moving on to the next level. We have designed this introductory class to give you the basic skills and knowledge to throw basic forms.

No prior experience is required. Demonstrations, group discussions, and one-to-one attention will be given to each student.

Tuesdays: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
     studio practice time Wednesdays and Saturdays 1:00 to 4:00
