I’m always amazed at how often I use these assorted-sized ‘hole-cutters’ to complete certain pots: the cut-away hole for a ladle in a soup tureen lid or cutting a ‘mouse-hole’ through the trimmed pedestal foot of a bowl. I use the smallest round punch to cleanly cut dipper-holes through the lids of large honey and sugar pots. And I use the larger punch to cut away a pair of half circles from the flange of a platter and then add a pair of textured handles at the rim.
