Summer 2026 - Changes to Redart
There has been a change to Redart that may affect some users. Redart clay is being mined from a new seam and as a result, it has seen some variations in fired color while physical properties of the clay remain within acceptable tolerances. If you are using Redart to produce clay bodies, it's advisable to test to confirm glaze fit as it has been reported that this new vein of Redart clay shrinks 2% more than its predecessor.
