Where Does Your Order Ship From

We are a store/warehouse at 104 Trottier Bay in Winnipeg MB. The order you place will ship entirely from our store/warehouse. There are no shipments from alternate locations and there are no products that are drop shipped. Products purchased on our site are in stock. We don't presell products or take money for products that we don't have ready to ship.

Local In Store Pick Up

You may choose to place your order online and pick up your order in our store. If choosing this option in the checkout, you will receive an order confirmation email after submitting your order. Please allow one business day (weekends and holidays excluded) for us to pick and process your order. We will send a second email notification when you order is ready for pick up.

Shipping Carriers

We have chosen Canada Post, UPS and FedEx as our default shipping carriers. Live calculated rates and shipping options are shown at the bottom of your shopping cart page. These rates are calculated based on the weight of your order and your location, determined by your ip address. The shipping rates are continually updated as you change the contents of your cart. The shopping cart shipping rates may differ slightly as compared to the checkout page. When checking out, the postal code that you provide will determine the exact shipping amount for your order.
For other large equipment that is not deliverable with UPS, FedEx or Canada Post such as kilns and palletized clay shipments, truck rates will populate for most major destinations in Canada. For orders shipped by truck, rates include delivery to your door. Occasionally our website will not be able to acquire a freight rate for your order, if so, send us an email or call toll free for a rate to your destination 866 284-2964.

Order Confirmation, Shipping and Tracking

Once you submit an order by completing the checkout process, we will confirm your order by email. Every customer is our most important customer so we ship virtually every order within 1-2 business days (weekends and holidays excluded). We want you to know when your parcel is on its way and how long it will take to arrive, an email will be sent to you with a tracking number once a shipping label has been created for your order.

Risk of Freezing

Some water-based products are damaged when frozen. Modeling clays, Wax Emulsions (except Wax-On), Latex Rubber, Kaowool Rigidizer are a few of these. Canada Post, UPS and FedEx do not offer heated service so these items are shipped in the winter months at your risk. A heated truck carrier can be arranged if necessary. Call 866 284-2964 or email us at info@soundingstone.com and we can provide shipping rates to protect your shipment from freezing.

Damages

We pack every order with care but sometimes a parcel can arrive with damage. If this should occur, call 866 284-2964 or email us at info@soundingstone.com and we will help to make your order right.
