A used Olympic Electric Kiln, model S18A equipped with a Bartlett V6-CF. The firing chamber measures 17.5 inches in diameter and 18 inches high. The kiln is made from 2.5 inch thick brick and the max temp of the kiln being cone 6, 2250F.
Note: A brand new set of elements have been installed in this kiln.
This kiln's max temp is cone 6 with brand new elements. Taking a kiln to its max temperature is hard on the kiln, especially when it is only insulated with 2.5" brick. You may find yourself replacing elements often when firing to cone 6. As of now, the kiln is firing to cone 6 in a respectable time.
It comes as pictured with owner's manual, stand and peep hole plugs.
