Amaco Potter's Choice PC57 Smokey Merlot Glaze

Here are some examples of PC-57 Smokey Merlot being  over some of the other Potter's Choice Glazes (2/2 coats fired to cone six on AMACO's #46 Buff Stoneware)

There are many Potter's Choice glaze colors providing a huge number of possible glaze layering combinations. Experiment with combinations of glazes, different numbers of coats of each glaze, (up to a total of three to four coats) and ways to layer the glazes on your clay pieces. The samples shown below are 2 coats over 2 coats on AMACO's #46 Buff Stoneware fired to Cone 6. Click each image to enlarge.

The Potter's Choice glazes produce unique and beautiful effects when layered with the celadon glazes and fired to cone 5/6. Be sure to use three coats of each glaze and let each coat dry completely between applications.These tiles were fired to cone 6 on AMACO's #11 A-mix
