More than one version of the Cone Art 2822D has been manufactured since the year 2000. These elements are correct for your kiln if your kiln has a floor element. These elements are made for the more common version that has a floor element, If your kiln does not have a floor element, contact us for the correct elements for your kiln at info@soundingstone.com

These elements are correct replacement parts for the Cone Art BX2822D & 2827D or GX2822D & 2827D electric kiln. Each element comes pre-stretched and is the correct resistance. 

There are times when it is advisable to replace all of the the elements in your kiln. If your kiln is firing long and struggling to reach temperature, or if you kiln fires unevenly, consider purchasing a full set of elements.

Total Number of Elements and Type in Kiln: 1 Top Wall Element, 4 Wall Elements & 1 Floor Element
All four wall elements are interchangeable, they are not location specific. The top wall element is unique as is the floor element.
