P-50 Pink Calcite is a fluid, mauve glaze with iridescent mottling where thick.
Food Safe: Tested for lead and cadmium release in accordance with ASTM C738-94.
Shake well before use. For best results, do not thin the glaze; apply 3 coats with a fan brush to Cone 04 bisque. (Let the glaze dry between coats.) Glaze fire to Cone 5-6. Due to variations in raw materials used during manufacturing, we recommend firing glazed test tiles before using each new batch of glaze.
Application Tips:
- 3 brush coats recommended, if you apply the glaze heavily, 2 coats will also work.
- Best glazing brush to use is a Fan Brush.
- Underapplication will result in a dry glaze with no crystals.
- Over application will cause a rough appearance and can also lead to heavier flow.
